Lydia started her jewellery business back in 2012 after returning from her travels abroad to South East Asia, she had finished training initially as a silversmith and then got her teaching degree in design & technology. Her love of the different cultures whilst exploring inspired her to start a jewellery business alongside her teaching job.
Lydia’s interest in crystals and their metaphysical properties has been explored since she was a little girl, using them as wellbeing tools to focus on affirmations specific to the stone. Using spiritual symbolism from ancient religions, folklore, mythology & sacred geometry, Lydia creates jewellery that holds meaning for the wearer to feel empowered.
Lydia’s open studio is a calm space open to all who are interested in crystals and hand crafted jewellery, she makes everything herself onsite in her workshop at the back of the studio. She welcomes people who are interested in commissions too, so do come along and discuss your ideas. Workshops based around jewellery making and mindful making is something Lydia specialises in. A variety of workshops are on offer for adults and children that will be offered monthly, subscribe to her newsletter for regular updates.
